George's grave in Fern Lane Cemetery, Little Marlow, is one of only two graves with Commonwealth War Grave headstones,
and his is the only one for the First World War. However, due to the date of his death (September), it is unlikely that his burial
is the one that is remembered by Nat Bowler in his poem about a WW1 military funeral in his book 'Frackle Mosaic'.
This is more likley to have been written about the funeral of Hubert Ray Secker.
