Albert's links to the local area seem to be through his grandparents William & Sarah Foster who were living at the Queen's Head, Little Marlow. He is remembered on their grave stone in Little Marlow Cemetery suggesting that he was in regular contact with them. There appear to be no other local family ties and it would seem that he was brought up outside the area.
