Who Am I?

I gave a library to the town,
A fountain, too, you may have found
And Frogmoor, yet another gift,
To praise the town where once I lived
And even though my days are past
My stained glass windows seem to last.

I felt that I was truly blessed
And hoped that others, who had less,
Would benefit from all these things,
And realise education brings
The chance for some to live their dreams
For that's what knowledge really means.
