Cobbles Farm at base of hill
Sits in its sheltered corner still,
This is how things used to be
So take a walk and come and see.
The rising slopes to Flackwell Heath
Can hide the farm here just beneath
But riders love this quiet retreat
Where town and countryside just meet.

Cobbles Farm, at the bottom of Spring Lane, is now known by local children as a riding stables. It was originally called Cobblers Farm and was run by the Timms family who are remembered in St Peter's Church.
