| This plaque on the Town Hall records the laying of its foundation stone in 1903 by Daniel Clarke, Mayor of Wycombe. It also records that the builder was C H Hunt & Son and the Town Clerk was A J Clarke. In 1904 High Wycombe Town Hall replaced the Guildhall as the seat of local government. | |
