I'm now a Clarke but born a Skull
And glad of this connection
For if you do a search on me
I'll pass your close inspection.
I live up here, at Haystacks now,
I've married Roland Clarke,
He'll be twice mayor of Wycombe 
And will surely leave his mark,
I'll later move to Castle Hill
When Minnie Clarke has died,
And rear my growing family
With Roly by my side.

Joan was the daughter of Percy Skull and Annie Lucy Jane Greening. She and Roland Clarke had three sons, David, Andrew and Timothy, but Andrew died in childhood.
