I
am a miller, Thurlow my name,
Bridge
Mill my place, corn is my game,
A
busy life mine, a miller works hard
Sorting the grain sacks
stored in my yard,
Mill wheels need water, mill
stones need
corn
So I do
the checking that
nothing gets worn
And
then when I've
finished I'm home for the night
Skirting the
Wye 'til the
Rye is in sight.
James was
running Bridge Mill at
quite an early
age. He married Ellen Robinson from Cambridgeshire and they
lived
along the London Road, next door to Harlow House.
