Grammar School

This Grammar School within the town
Has made boys into men
And though it's moved to fields around
It was the main school then.
Here our men of industry
Were scholars in their youth
And it paid off, as you will see
In knowledge, guts, and truth.

John Godfrey Peace was certainly a student here and many of his friends from that era would also have attended.
