The golf course is my passion
It's become the latest fashion
And I love to come and play here when I can,
I have all of the equipment
And behave like a delinquent
In my efforts to compete with any man.
For me, a childless second wife,
The club is now my other life
So I've come to be its very latest fan.

Mabel Treacher became a prominent member and player within the club and was Captain of the Ladies' Team.
