My grandfather, Jockey Jennings, owned Juniper Farm at the top of Juniper Hill and Whitepit Lane. Juniper
Farm comprised of the farm cottage, then you dropped down to a couple of barns and behind them was the big piggery.
Father kept the land which was the piggery and sold the barns and some ground to Pete Fletcher for Tower Garage.
Father sold the farm buildings to the Council for road widening in about 1959.

My grandma’s father was a shepherd for Mr Folley. When he came back from the war in 1918 they lived at Juniper Farm which was owned by Mr Folley.
My family also lived down by New Farm at Sheepridge Lane. My father’s generation were all brought up in Flackwell Heath and my mother was brought
up in Wooburn Town.
