As the Legion looks now


Here's a hall where Heathens meet,
To share a drink or take a seat,
Long gone the days of army boots
Or comrades in their demob suits,
But still the purpose for it stands
And we're kept safe in Legion hands.

The British Legion once met in a room on the opposite side of the road but moved to their present, larger, premises some time ago.
