And you will find we share some roots
For EssexThurlows married Gibbs
And so you’ll find relations live
All along the London Road
(As census records later show)
But I’m a Cambridge girl by birth
And not of Essex hallowed turf.

Ellen was married to James Thurlow.  William Redington who lived at Harlow House, next door, was the son of William Redington from Harlow and Sarah Gibbs of High Wycombe. Sarah's nephew, Henry Gibbs is believed to have married Elizabeth Thurlow from Essex.
