Thomas Thurlow. He was the  was the son of James and Ellen Thurlow.  He became an architect with offices in the High Street and was a joint owner of  Flackwell Heath Golf Club.  His son, Eric, married Audrey Clarke, the daughter of Arthur and Minne Clarke of Castle Hill House.
