The Wilk(e)s family suffered huge losses in WW1. There are five Wilks on the Flackwell Heath War Memorial and
three Wilks men from High Wycombe listed on the High Wycombe War Memorial who are cousins and nephews of the
Flackwell Heath Men. Arthur Wilks also suffered the loss of his brother-in-law Leonard Savill.
