There is no clear resaon why the Rogers family should have moved from their home near Monks Risborough to set up house in Little Marlow. The probable cause is the necessity of finding employment. So, although the four brothers on the Flackwell Heath and Little Marlow war memorials are notable for their family's tragic loss, they do not appear to be related to any local families. However, there is a tenuous link to the Bowler family who also came from that area and are connected, through a cousin's marriage, to a Rogers family there.

Rogers descendants still live in the area today, descended from William and other family members. Go to the 'Learn More' button below.
