Rose Bank Cottages today
Rose Bank Cottages were four roomed homes suitable for smaller families. The occupations of those living here
in the early 1900s would suggest that they were pensioners, paper finishers and bricklayers. The smaller your family the more likely you were to have savings and these
well-built cottages, with a porch and garden, would have been seen as a step up by many.
