I'm following the trade
Of oatmeal, corn and such,
It's how our moneys made
And suits us very much,
The house in which we live
I think reveals it too,
For many folk would give
To come and live here too,
And so my family
Will flourish on the hill
And they will come to be
More successful still.

Arthur Thurlow was the son of James Thurlow, Bridge Mill.  His nephew,  Eric, married Audrey Clarke of Castle Hill House.
