This
church has seen our family
Extend
its branches like a tree
From
christening to funeral
This
nave has no doubt witnessed all,
And
weddings there have been a few
And
blessings, surely one or two,
And here
the window of stained glass
A
memory forever lasts
Of
dear Georgiana, loving wife
Now
long departed from this life
Before the country won the war,
A welcome peace she
never saw.
The church
has a stained glass window dedicated to
Georgiana, wife of Charles Edwin Skull, who died in February 1918.
There is also a brass wall plaque in
memory of their nephew, Charles Robert Watkins, who was killed in the
First
World War. Coltman and Gibbs graves are in evidence in the churchyard.
